Hi,
It's being so long since my last blog lol. I've gotten lazier. Today I was looking for something and I came across several envelopes with last yrs bday cards when I turned 21. Time went by so quickly like in a flash.
I'm trying to remember wt I've done last year and I barely remember. So I decided to read the birthday cards again and wow...its a pretty nice feeling =]. I think its because my birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks that I started to reflect on what I've done while I was 21 last year.
Anyways I was having dinner with my sister in Campsie. We sat next to a group ppl in their late 20s. Our tables were kinda close so I could like hear their conversation even though I didn't want to. They talked about food, cooking, geography and what their mums can do lol. Like one guy was saying his mum can cut her own hair and cut her friends hair. And another guy was talking about his mum's cooking. And one guy was asking the other guy how to make hainanese chicken (the same dish Poh tried to win Julie in MasterChef but I don't think they've seen it cause they would have talked about it). The other guy gave a really in depth explanation of what hainanese chicken. Like overly in depth.
Its like the first time I really hear guys of their age to talk so much about their mums. I can almost say I know more about their mums than I do about my friends mums lol. Like is this the sorta things people talk about when they hit that age? cuz im kinda not that far off from their age...gimme 8 yrs and I'll be there. So would I be talking about the same sorta thing when I'm there?
Maybe I'm not a mama's boy so I didn't find it too interesting and the other topics....were too educational lol. Like seriously...I dont really need to know how to make hainanese chicken and the different types of chickens can be used to make it.
Wow I ended up bitching like a full essay. Anyways, here's a question I've being thinking about randomly.
What's the advantages of sensitive/excellent hearing?
Nothing. You hear things you don't want to know. You are easily waken by your ability to hear. Easily annoyed by sound pollution.
What's the advantage of bad hearing?
Everything. You don't have to hear things you don't want to know. You have a good night sleep. You won't realise annoying sounds until someone complains about the noise. You can sleep anywhere. Better concentration level when studying.
Obviously I'm a bit bored atm for thinking that but yeah.......ok maybe I'll tell a joke.
===========================================================================
Once upon a time, there were a married couple both at age of 40. One day they were walking in the streets and they found a lamp on the floor. So they picked it up and jokingly rubbed it to see if a genie would pop out. Not surprisingly it did and the genie did what typical genies would do, grant 3 wishes.
The wife wanted lot's of money and so the Genie granted her wish giving her lots of money.
The husband whispered his wish to the Genie and said he would like to have a wife 20 years younger than him.
And the Genie said "Very well then."
The husband suddenly shrunk slightly and his skin started to wrinkle.
It turned out that the Genie made the husband 20 years older than his wife.
So the moral of the story is:
Make sure you tell the genie to make your wife 20 years old and not 20 years younger.
