  • A year later...

    Hi,

It's being so long since my last blog lol. I've gotten lazier. Today I was looking for something and I came across several envelopes with last yrs bday cards when I turned 21. Time went by so quickly like in a flash.

I'm trying to remember wt I've done last year and I barely remember. So I decided to read the birthday cards again and wow...its a pretty nice feeling =]. I think its because my birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks that I started to reflect on what I've done while I was 21 last year.

Anyways I was having dinner with my sister in Campsie. We sat next to a group ppl in their late 20s. Our tables were kinda close so I could like hear their conversation even though I didn't want to. They talked about food, cooking, geography and what their mums can do lol. Like one guy was saying his mum can cut her own hair and cut her friends hair. And another guy was talking about his mum's cooking. And one guy was asking the other guy how to make hainanese chicken (the same dish Poh tried to win Julie in MasterChef but I don't think they've seen it cause they would have talked about it). The other guy gave a really in depth explanation of what hainanese chicken. Like overly in depth.

Its like the first time I really hear guys of their age to talk so much about their mums. I can almost say I know more about their mums than I do about my friends mums lol. Like is this the sorta things people talk about when they hit that age? cuz im kinda not that far off from their age...gimme 8 yrs and I'll be there. So would I be talking about the same sorta thing when I'm there?

Maybe I'm not a mama's boy so I didn't find it too interesting and the other topics....were too educational lol. Like seriously...I dont really need to know how to make hainanese chicken and the different types of chickens can be used to make it.

Wow I ended up bitching like a full essay. Anyways, here's a question I've being thinking about randomly.

What's the advantages of sensitive/excellent hearing?
Nothing. You hear things you don't want to know. You are easily waken by your ability to hear. Easily annoyed by sound pollution.

What's the advantage of bad hearing?
Everything. You don't have to hear things you don't want to know. You have a good night sleep. You won't realise annoying sounds until someone complains about the noise. You can sleep anywhere. Better concentration level when studying.

Obviously I'm a bit bored atm for thinking that but yeah.......ok maybe I'll tell a joke.

    ===========================================================================
Once upon a time, there were a married couple both at age of 40. One day they were walking in the streets and they found a lamp on the floor. So they picked it up and jokingly rubbed it to see if a genie would pop out. Not surprisingly it did and the genie did what typical genies would do, grant 3 wishes.

The wife wanted lot's of money and so the Genie granted her wish giving her lots of money.
The husband whispered his wish to the Genie and said he would like to have a wife 20 years younger than him.
And the Genie said "Very well then."
The husband suddenly shrunk slightly and his skin started to wrinkle.
It turned out that the Genie made the husband 20 years older than his wife.

So the moral of the story is:
Make sure you tell the genie to make your wife 20 years old and not 20 years younger.

  • Exams stink!

    Yo,

Its over over over~~!!!!!! No more exams.....^^ woohoo~!!!!!!!!!! It's being a month of exams since my first exam.

    Exams stink for many reasons:
    1. u gotta remember so many formulas and crap
    2. the pressure of failing and doing the subject again smells

but today i realised theres a 3rd reason why it stinks.

It all started when I had my last exam today:

I went in...got my table number sat down....filled in my name.
A guy with curly long hair walks into the room and sits in front of me.....takes off his jumper or shirt or something and straight away .... I was punished.

    B.O.!

    B.O.!!

    B.O.!!!!!!!!!!!

    *puke...blurgghhh*

Body Odour is very destructive. Full stop.

There I was...having to put up with the smell for 2 friggin hours.....im alrdy under prepared for the exam...and now im handicapped like this. I should've applied for Special Consideration.

So yeah the exam was pretty tough in those circumstances...had to hold my breathe lol!
Thankfully he left early and immediately I felt smarter and thinking properly (must be the oxygen going to the brain now).

  • Sleeping Ugly

    Hi,

Yeah I think fairy tales are a bit shallow...why sleeping beauty and not sleeping ugly??? maybe thats why she has to sleep for so long. Anyhow I just played the Sleeping Ugly role today ^^. Had a kfc tennis combo this morning.....what I mean by that is...tennis from 8-10 ish...then KFC 3 piece feed..woo~

In effect, basically what happened was I burnt fat to make room for more KFC fat ^^

Ok KFC didnt pay me to do this but....I actually feel better when I have KFC. Like I had a stomach ache during tennis and the KFC got rid of it for me...no joke. Then there was this other time at work when we were cleaning up the storeroom (the storeroom was underground so was kinda stuffy) and I was moving CRT monitors...and I was moving one....putting it down...fine. Moved another one (exactly the same type of monitor) and it felt like it was doubly heavy. Then I started feeling cold and dizzy lol......until....I went and got KFC!! ROAR.....totally peaked performance afterwards (but then it was home time so I didnt need that energy anyways lol).

So to sum that up...KFC for the win!

Then after the KFC....I was playing games for an hour maybe and fell asleep on the sofa. from like 11 something til 5. I dont remember doing this before...sleeping from when the sun is up til the sunsets but now I'm hyperactive.....rarrr.....~

  • 1 exam down

    Yo,

After days of sleepless nights and zombified lifestyle,  I have completed the first final exam for this semester and also the hardest one (on Friday). Had a class dinner after the exam as part of the subject assessment. I feel so much lighter....*flies to the moon*. The restaurant was an Italian restaurant across the road from the uni..forgot what its called but...I was pretty full.
They had this massive nutella jar that was like 10 times bigger than the normal one but looked exactly like the original. People were taking photos of it...but I was more interested in taking a photo with the waitress hehehe. Under the influence of alcohol and team members peer pressuring me. I managed to ask her if I could take a photo with her...woohoo...^^*V (nosebleed).
